HISTORY

The founder and CEO of CommunicAid has to his credit extensive experience in senior management positions in various sectors of industry and commerce including Textiles, Logistics, Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, Engineering, Construction & Real Estate, Advertising & Marketing and Printing & Publishing.

On the Social sector he has been an activist taking up public causes in various forums including the judiciary. He has been a regular contributor of Tweets covering a number of subjects that have had a positive effect and impact on various fronts.

Important events & positions held:-

* General Manager - Publishing and Dy.CEO of the joint venture publishing division of Bell Canada Enterprises (BCE) and acting CEO from time to time, looking after    their Middle East operation for over a decade among others;
* Participation in various management training programmes offered by a number of Institutions;
* Int'l member: IAA - International Advertising Association;
* Consultant - Printing & packaging - Lipton, for their ME operation;
* First to introduce computers in the Gulf with "Wang system" coupled with Linotype equipment - 1980;
* First to develop the largest computerised mailing list covering 22 Arab countries - 1980s;
* First to successfully launch American Express Green and Gold cards in the Middle East via direct mail campaign - 1980s;
* First to introduce bulk mailing at concessional rates through postal departments in the Gulf;
* First to launch Direct mail marketing campaign for a number of banks and business houses in the Middle East, including "MEED - UK", "Euromoney","AMR Int'l Inc",    among others;
* No. of publishing projects including professional publications, White & Yellow pages for most of the Telecom operators in the Gulf which included, Batelco, Etisalat,    Omantel, Q-tel, Kuwait Telecom among others;
* Recent project: Successfully implemented, both timely and cost effective, on turnkey a publishing project of a 40 page full colour broad sheet Arabic newspaper "Dar    Al Bilad" for the Ruling family of Kingdom of Bahrain.
